Schnepp Senior Care & Rehab Center provides comprehensive individualized rehabilitation and skilled nursing care to people recovering from serious illness or injuries, and those with ongoing medical conditions. Schnepp provides rehab services, long term care and dementia care. Their outstanding rehab has been proven to be very effective. Many individuals have came in for rehabilitation and left with all of their mobility skills again. Schnepp is a locally owned facility with a long standing reputation for quality care and great resident outcomes.
In 2010 Schnepp received the American Health Care Association National Quality Award for its outstanding performance in the health care profession and their commitment to quality care.
Schnepp is also a two time winner of a Michigan Award of Excellence for Improving Care in the Nursing Home Setting. This was awarded by MPRO, Michigan’s Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) www.mpro.org. Schnepp has also been involved in other MPRO quality improvement projects. The facility was also published in MPRO Quality Counts for our Person Centered Care highlighting our program for dementia residents on our Garden Unit, 2007.
Schnepp has also been recognized by the Health Care Association of Michigan (HCAM) www.hcam.org for promoting excellence in Senior Care, 2007. They have also been named a top facility for 2 years running from US News and World Report.
