Charlie Smith started barbering in St. Louis on September 17, 1964 at the present-day location which was then known as Jim's Barber Shop. Charlie went into business on his own in February of 1969, naming his shop, "The Sportsmen's Barber Shop," and has barbered at this same location for 47 years.
In March of 2010, Carla McDaid began working at the shop and has been barbering for over 11 years. Carla is a licensed barber, not a beautician.

Carla's Hours: Friday from 12 noon to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon
